What Happens When I Schedule a Delivery?

We’ll give you a call to discuss any delivery details and let you know that we’re on our way. Once we arrive at your job site, we’ll review your delivery ticket with you to make sure all your materials are included in the delivery and collect any payment due. Finally, we’ll unload your delivery and pull the banding from the materials if you’d like.

How can I Prepare for Delivery?

While we’re loading your lumber, drywall, or even a truckload of deer corn, getting your delivery site prepped will help get your materials in place safely and efficiently. Whether you’re a pro on a busy jobsite or a homeowner waiting in your driveway, here’s some delivery best practices:

• Access- If access to your delivery site is behind a gate, please provide the gate access code before we head your way.
• Large Delivery- Is your jobsite or delivery large? Please communicate beforehand where you would like our delivery driver to drop off your materials and confirm that the site is semi/tandem (large truck) friendly.
• Clear Site- Ensure the delivery site is accessible and free of obstacles. Keeping the site clear of any vehicles, forklifts, or your kids’ bikes will help our driver get in and out safely.

How Do I Track My Delivery?

When scheduling your delivery with the store, give them your email or cell phone number and request delivery tracking. We will send you an email or text to track your delivery in real time once it heads out. When the delivery driver starts your delivery, you will receive a message with a tracking link. This will have the delivery day, time, and status of the delivery. You’ll get a notice when your delivery arrives. And we won’t just tell you – we’ll show you! Through the tracking link, you’ll be able to see images of the delivery and the signature of the person who signed for it. Check out what it looks like below.
