Fernco no hub couplings are engineered specifically for connecting no hub cast iron pipe of compatible diameters. The patented shield design transfers clamping pressure across the gasket and pipe, helping create a positive and reliable connection without the traditional hub and spigot joint.

  • Patented corrugation applies sealing pressure in both parallel and transverse patterns across the gasket and pipe
  • The elastomeric gasket features strategically positioned grooves and beads designed to provide sealing pressure and holding power
  • One-piece screw housings mechanically interlock with the band, eliminating leak paths associated with staked or welded clamp construction
  • Floating eyelets allow the clamp, band and shield to move independently to help prevent shield crimping
  • Designed specifically for joining compatible no hub cast iron pipe to cast iron pipe
  • Stainless steel shield and clamp components provide durable performance across plumbing applications
  • 5/16 in hex head screw
  • 60 in-lb installation torque on most sizes
